Daventry Photographic Society
The Society is open to all with a variety of members and a wide range of abilities. Our weekly events include monthly competitions, presentations, guest speakers and field trips. The club is suitable for any adult with an interest in photography, regardless of level of expertise or type of equipment.
If you are interested in joining a camera club which meets throughout the year, with a friendly atmosphere and a bar on-site, then why not come along for a week or two as our guest to see us in action? There's nothing to lose and no obligation to join.
We meet at 7.30pm on Tuesday evenings.
Due to the current Coronavirus situation we cannot physically meet at our club at Mayfield Sports Club Daventry, however we hope that you will be able to join the Zoom meetings on Tuesdays at 7.30pm, see the Calendar for details and dates. If you aren't a member and would like to join one of the meetings please email the Chairman on for details.

Tuesday 23rd February 7.30 - 9.30pm - External speaker: Tim Pile - 'Nudes in Photography’ Website: http://www.timpile.co.uk
Tim has gained many photographic distinctions and awards. His lecture covers how he captures “the beauty of the female form, in man-made and natural environments”. Tim’s photography aims to show that female form is a beautiful thing, and he chooses to capture that beauty using man-made and natural environments, preferring to take pictures that include models, rather than just pictures of models. He says that these are not just his images: every one of them is the result of a creative partnership with the model concerned
Non members are also invited to join us for the Speaker evenings, we ask for a nominal fee of £2.50 payable via the donate button on the Club’s website (bottom of this home page) and send an E Mail address and ask to be added to the zoom invite list to email@example.com
