Competitions

Competitions are an important aspect of the club's activities. They help us to see what progress we have made and to receive feedback on our images. There are two types of competition:

Club Competitions
These are internal competitions where club members compete against each other. There are twelve rounds each year, one per month, with each round focusing on a specific theme. Additionally, rounds are designated either as "projected" or "print". The guidelines for preparing images can be access using the link below.

Interclub Competitions
These are held between other local Photographic Society clubs in our local area. Two are usually held each year. See calendar
